Adrienne Clair has extensive experience in federal
and state energy regulatory matters. As a member and
past vice-chair of the firm’s Energy Division, Adrienne
regularly counsels clients and litigates matters before the
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regarding electric
utility and natural gas pipeline rates and conditions of
service, transmission expansion and cost allocation, and
rules against market manipulation. Adrienne also has
experience before state commissions regarding electric
utility retail rates. Her practice includes representation
of municipal and cooperative utilities, state governmental
entities, and transmission customers. She is a member of
the board of the Energy Bar Association.

Pat Konopka
Pat Konopka is past chair of the firm’s Diversity
Committee and currently serves on the firm’s Policy
Committee. A member of our Employment and
Labor Law/Employee Benefits Division, she litigates
employment-related matters, such as wage and hour
cases, non-competition/non-solicitation disputes and
discrimination claims. She also counsels clients on all
aspects of employment law. Pat has been honored by Super
Lawyers and named one of the Best Lawyers in Kansas City.
Susan McGreevy leads our Construction Practice
Group, counseling clients in preparing and entering
contracts, negotiating issues as they arise, and assisting
in a wide variety of dispute resolution including
arbitration and litigation. She is a member of the
Construction Industry Panel for the American Arbitration
Association, is widely published, is a frequent speaker on construction topics and has been
repeatedly honored in Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, Best of the Bar and other publications
for her work in the industry.

Stephanie Scheck chairs the firm’s Employment and Labor Law/Employee Benefits
Division and is also an active member of the firm’s Diversity Committee. Her practice is
concentrated in the field of employment law litigation, with experience covering a wide variety
of issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, Section 1981, disability, FMLA, and
wage and hour claims; H-2A visa and immigration issues; federal contractor affirmative action
audits; and non-competition, wrongful termination and whistleblower litigation. Stephanie
provides consulting, training and audits on a variety of employment law compliance issues
and has been honored as a top employment lawyer in Kansas.
